This painting started out as representation of a local waterfall. However, there was too much detail in the shrubbery above the waterfall which made the painting look too “busy” & the waterfall itself was “lost” amongst it all.
I used some “artistic license” to make the waterfall the central focus & to bring what I believe is a better balance to the scene. I hope you like it!
