This is a beautiful scene that I have taken a long time to paint! There is a lot of detail & a lot of interest in this scene which makes it interesting visually but also a challenge to paint, at least I found it so. I have worked hard at trying to learn to paint clouds which looks easy but it isn’t & I wanted to have a larger percentage of sky in this painting from what I have done previously.
All in all, I am happy with the results & I hope that this painting finds its way to someone’s home & that it brings with it a sense of peace & calm & joy.
